Mainland China further eases its pandemic restrictions measures

EPiCify Nov 11

The Central government today announced 20 measures to further optimize the epidemic prevention work, including epidemic prevention and isolation measures and the division of risk areas. No matter you are in the mainland doing nucleic acid tests every day, or you are in Hong Kong and planning to come to the mainland, All are must-sees.

1. Isolation measures

  • The “7-day centralized quarantine + 3-day home health monitoring” for close contacts and immigrants has been changed to “5+3”, which means that the number of quarantine days has been reduced from 10 days to 8 days
  • The positive CT value is still <35, and the CT value is 35-40. If the person is infected in the past, they should be quarantined at home for three days and two tests

2. Risk areas

  • Only high and low risk, no medium risk areas
  • A high risk area with no new cases for 5 consecutive days will be a low risk area

3. Nucleic acid detection

  • Only when the source of infection and the transmission chain are not light, and the community transmission time is long, the nucleic acid of all staff is carried out
  • Do not implement “two inspections a day”, “three inspections a day”, etc.
